"A Fresh Wind of God's Presence"

Psalms 144:9 "I will sing a new song to thee, O God; upon a ten-stringed harp I will play to thee..."

The Vision & Mission Statement of Purpose of LWO Music Ministry

The vision and mission statement of purpose of Liberty World Outreach's Music Ministry is to develop skilled minstrels and psalmists to usher the congregation into the presence of God.

As the Levitical priesthood had direct access to the presence of God in the Old Testament, we too stand as ministers of the New Covenant before the presence of God, making intercessions for His people, our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ day and night. During service we are positioned not just as singers performing before people to arouse them, but as watchmen on the wall, delegated to intercept all the schemes of the enemy, destroying his evil tactics.

Our prayer and desire is that those who fellowship with us during any service experience a fresh wind of God's presence and power.

As Praise and Worship ministers, we believe that through seeking God, we continually walk with the awareness that He is with us everywhere we go. Therefore, because of who He is in each of us:

The fruit of the spirit "love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance" (Gal. 5:22, KJV) is evident in our lives individually, and corporately.

We can submit to God, our Senior Pastor, and the other leaders placed over us in the Lord. (1 Thess. 5:12, NIV)

We seek to strengthen our relationships with team members, other members of our church, and those who God adds to us. We work diligently to live in peace with each other, and we always try to be kind to one another. (1 Thess. 5:12-15, NIV).

We take our commitment to this ministry seriously believing that for this season of our lives God has called us here to labor. We do not take this opportunity to minister and serve the Lord for granted.

We can graciously submit to the established requirements and standards of excellence for this ministry.
